Golden Rainbow Hummer III 6 inches

Darkness ahead, fire behind… No matter, this happy courageous hummer is flying forward anyway, sharing its joy and sound. I love how the shape of the hummingbird lends itself to the decorative ribbons and swirls highlighted by the gold leaf coming through.. The bird is gilded and embellished with iridescent line work and is jewel like in appearance.

Acrylic on Composition Gold Leaf Wood Panel 6 x 6 x 7/8 in. Signed on reverse, painted sides, wired ready to hang. Reflective gold has a variety of characteristics and shades depending on lighting as shown in photo’s. Indoor Gold is warmer, outdoor lighter in tone.
